DESU BOX IS KICKSTARTING TODAY!

Hello Lovelies!

It's a very exciting day today!

DESU BOX ARE LAUNCHING
THEIR KICKSTARTER TODAY!

It's finally live! After months of planning Desu box have launched their kickstarter in hopes to raise £1650 to start their monthly Japanese candy and snack subscription boxes!

For those that may have missed my previous box about Desu Box, this is a monthly subscription service where the lovely folk at Desu Box pick and send you a box full of delicious snacks and candy all the way from Japan to try out!

There will be two box sizes available to start with - the mini Desu box which contains 5 items each month for £13 a month including UK delivery, international delivery is £7.00-£12.00. The second Desu box is the Biggu - This includes 9 different items and a drink and includes UK delivery for £18.00 a month. Unfortunately the bigger box is not available to overseas buyers yet but it is something the team is looking into! Desu box will be be accepting PayPal and credit/debit through Stripe, with auto-renewal on subscription: it won't be difficult to cancel though which is super handy!

If this sounds like something you'd like to try out, and why wouldn't you? You can help out Desu Box with their kickstarter! There are plenty of options to help donate, starting from as little as £1 with lots of different rewards (not to mention the actual boxes for the higher tiers!) So please show your support for a new start up company who I think have a fantastic idea!

You can find the kickstarter and more information about Desu Box below:

THE TEA PARTY CLUB 7TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT ~ 20/09/2014 21/09/2013- LONDON

Hello Lovelies,

Today I want to tell you about an event happening in the very near future!

The Tea Party Club is the UK's oldest and biggest lolita community. Each year they celebrate their birthday and each year the birthday events keep on getting better and better. In 2013 I attended Frock On! Which will always be an amazing memory for me (You can read about this here: Frock On!)

This year The Tea Party Club is proud to anounce that Metamorphose temp de fille will be their main guest for our 7th year Anniversary. The anniversay runs over two days - Saturday 20th September and Sunday 21st September.  The Saturday being the main event with shopping, fashion shows workshops and with a tea party hosted on the Sunday. (I'm attending the Saturday only as I had a prior engagement on the Sunday unfortunately, else I'd be there like a shot!!) The venues they have booked look utterly amazing and so, so posh! You're guaranteed to feel like a prince or princess on the day!

Now the bad news, the TPC is short nearly £1000 due to slow ticket sales (I can't imagine why this as every other event has sold out so quickly!!) And this means unless the ticket sales pick up the event will have to be scaled down, TPC will loose out on deposits and we may never get a grand event on this scale in the UK again. I can honestly say that the TPC events are one of the best days out for a Lolita and it really would be a shame to miss out on future events.

If you'd like to attend the event, and lets face it, who wouldn't?! You can check out the event page or book tickets at the sites given below.

~*~ GUEST POST - SIMON TODD - Charity Fundraising ~*~

Hello, I'm Simon. Also known as Laura, Jess, Sarah, Becky and Emma. Now you're confused.

This year for charity I'm completely swapping lives with 6 young ladies, living life through their eyes. How? I'll be going the whole hog to look like, dress like and act like them, as they set me a days worth of activities typical of their lives. Singing, shopping, baking... Anything goes.

So why am I taking a week off work to spend it being other people? This year it's for The Children's Trust in Tadworth, a great national charity working with kids across the UK who have multiple disabilities and complex health needs. They also help the family out too, with rehab, therapy, nursing and medical care, should they need it. It's a great cause.

I've set myself a challenge of raising £250 - take a look at http://www.itodd.co.uk/charity for more about the event, or head straight to http://www.justgiving.com/swapsies2012 if you're feeling generous enough to donate!

Thanks in advance - your donations mean a lot!
