Mini Korean beauty haul!

Today as promised I'm going show you my mini beauty haul! (I'm not sure why the photos are so washed out, sorry!)

So here was the first lot I ordered - this is Tony Moly's Luminous Goddess Aura Perfume Make-up Mist and Saemmul's Pure CC cream. The package arrived very quickly and was accompanied by these cute little samples! I've been wanting to try out the Panda's dream range for awhile so this is a great bonus! (The Panda's dream range comes in these adorable little containers which might be influencing me in my want to purchase them!)

So here are the two items I ordered on their own - I've ordered the Goddess Aura before - probably over a year ago and as mine had run out I decided to order another - I was a little apprehensive about re-ordering this as they seem to have changed the packaging since the last time I ordered and I was worried it wouldn't have the same scent as it has before. I really loved the perfume used for my original bottle, its very fresh and floral. I've not used anything by Saemmul before but desperately needed some sort of CC or BB - I just can't find anything light enough to match my skin tone here (Seriously, Rimmel's Light BB is so, so orange!!) This CC has microbeads which burst and change colour to blend into your skin tone.

The back of the CC cream - for some odd reason I don't seem to have the front! Handily the back of the tube has Korean and English writing with ingredients and usage directions.

There isn't much of a scent to this which is great, as you can see in the picture on the left, the product goes on white. It's very silky and smooth and blends in very easily as shown on the picture on the right. I found that it did even out my skin tone rather well but didn't feel heavy on the skin. I've also tried mixing it with an orangey foundation for extra coverage which worked quite well too and lightened the foundation.

Here is the Goddess Aura - again the back of the packet has Korean and English - this mist can be used to set make-up or just as a refreshing mist. I tend to use it as both and as a perfume too - the scent is VERY similar to the original one I had, and might actually be better, it's very light and refreshing.

It adds a slight glisten before the spray dries - this is it on top of the CC cream. 

(The red patch on the side of my hand is a swatch from the lipgloss below!)

The third item I ordered was this cute little Tony Moly Blueberry tinted lip balm/gloss! The company sent me a couple of samples to try out as well as a full size sheet mask! The samples look super fun - I like a lot of these products are fruit based.

Look how cute this is! The actual blueberry is a metallic purple colour and really looks like a giant blueberry.

The pot splits in half and has a Tony Moly seal above the product to stop it moving about in transit should it get too warm and melt.

The lip balm/gloss - it's a lovely subtle colour. It's very easy to apply and glides on smoothly - I've been using a lip brush for it as I hate getting gloss/balm all over my fingers, and I can be more accurate with where I am applying it with a brush.

It's quite hard to photograph the swatch for this as it is a very sheer colour - but it moisturises well and isn't too sticky - it adds a very lovely coloured sheen to lips.

I'm really pleased with my latest purchases and can't wait to try out the samples soon - maybe I'll have an at home spa day! Have you tried out any of the above cosmetics? Have any spa day tips? Let me know in the comments below!

As the instructions said, I found myself 30 minutes in which to chill out and try out the masks! 

Firstly I washed my face to ensure my skin was super clean for the mask.

Opening the packet was very easy, the mask is almost jelly like which I wasn't expecting, and was a very nice surprise! It also smelt like roses which is one of my favourite scents, so this was a bonus too!

Application is super easy as the masks clings to your skin on contact. All I needed to do was press lightly to contour it to my lips. It's probably advisable to avoid talking whilst using this else you may find it comes unstuck.

After 30 minutes I removed the mask! I did notice that my lips and surrounding skin was super soft and smooth and that my lips looked a lot fuller than before!

I'm really impressed with these and would love to have them as a regular part of my skin care routine - I'm very tempted to try out the rest of the Replen 10 range too!

Harry Potter Studio Tour

Hello Lovelies!

As promised today's post is very Harry Potter themed! I was lucky enough to go to the studio tour in London recently and timed it so that we would be going when the Hogwarts Express exhibition opened!

Upon arrival you collect your tickets from outside (unless you had them posted to you) and then the fun begins! The entract is full of photos of the cast and quite a few props from the film! There are also some of the Wizards' chess pieces outside

You're given a time slot for when you can enter the tour, and whilst queuing to enter you go past the cupboard under the stairs, where Harry spent quite a few years of his life. After that you go in through the doors and there is a brief presentation, before being escorted through to the studio cinema to watch a history of the films/book franchise, it was really quite interesting to watch and there were a lot more people involved in making the films than I thought. Finally it's then time to start the tour, I was wondering where we exit the cinema as I could only see one rather tiny exit and the cinema was packed! When suddenly the cinema screen rolled up and...

The entrance to to the tour was revealed! Honestly this was much cooler to see in person that I'm describing. Everything here was so detailed and pretty huge as well! The tour guide asked anyone with a birthday to come forward so they could help push open the doors which I thought was a nice touch. (Slightly disappointed it wasn't my birthday!)

Once inside the guide explains a bit about the Great Hall and points out details that you may have missed in the films (Like the Hogwarts crest being inside the fireplace). The tables are set up down the sides of the hall as they would be for filming, and around them are the house uniforms. After the guide had finished explaining, we were free to wander around the exhibits.

Hogwarts express! Look how awesome it is! It's just amazing to look at in person and you can go in one set of carriages that they've set up to look like they would have in the films over the years. (I don't have photos from this as it was too dark inside)

Graphic design from the film, it's amazing how many different things there were to look at here. I was given a Hogwarts express badge whilst passing by here as well! From here you get to the back lot where you can stop for Butter beer and other food/drinks - we skipped this as we'd been forewarned that Butterbeer tastes like Iron-Bru & milk! 

Outside was the Knight's bus, Privet Drive and a the Potter's house. There were also more chess pieces and the flying car, but it was so busy we couldn't get near it.

On the Hogwarts bridge! This was pretty fun - you could walk across this and take photos.

Special effects! After the back lot you go into the special effects and making of exhibits. Some of these heads are really realistic which is quite creepy. There were also full size copies of the main cast which was even creepier they looked so real!

Paper models of the whomping willow and Hogwarts. From here I heard a few people 'Oh Wow' round the corner of where we were, but we couldn't see anything yet and wondered what they were exclaiming at... 

That'd be this, the gigantic model of Hogwarts. 

 This was literally the most impressive thing here, it was so, so detailed and beautiful.

Wand boxes from Olivander's - Did you know every single box from the shop was hand written? It must have taken forever to make them!

This was pretty much the end of the tour, which exits into the gift shop where you can just about buy any Harry Potter merchandise you can think of. It's quite expensive but I did buy a t-shirt! It was a really fun day out. What I would say though is that it was over a little quick - The first tour guide said it would take around 3 hours to get around all the exhibits, but it took us a little over an hour to see absolutely everything. I'd still go again though as I'm sure it'd be just as good the second time around as well!
