I’ve a fun post and offer for you today! I recently saw an opportunity to work with a personalised case company and excitingly, they picked me to work with!

Now, I go through phone cases like anything, I like to change them with my outfits, moods anything really! But I’ve never tried getting my own case printed – that’s where Wrappz comes in! Wrappz was founded in 2007 with the simple aim of being able to customise gadgets easily.  The site offers all sorts of printed items, from phone cases to wall art. They also offer printed skins for laptops, tablets and phones too, which I don’t think I've seen before.

The site itself is easy to navigate and stocks a really wide range of products to choose from and personalize. This means you could put your favourite kawaii character, a favourite photo or even a saying you love onto your very own phone case. The back shells for the phones are also printed o the sides too which means your design will go the whole way round, how cool is that? (Most I’ve seen have blank sides). They’d even make a lovely present for someone.

Clobba Online - Shopping service review + Taobao Spring 2015 haul ~*~ Positive~*~

Today's post is a review of Clobba Online - my go to Taobao shopping service. Back in February I found quite a few items I wanted on Taobao and decided to place an order. I used Clobba again as I find that they have the best service, and are very timely with replies which are written in good English. I sent the email containing the items for a quote and received a reply back the very next day! I picked the items from the list I wanted and sent the order back through, Martin sent back the order form very quickly and the invoice which I paid right away. The same day I got an email from Martin informing me that the dress I had on my order had come off the sale price, and asked if I still wanted to buy it - I decided instead to get a refund as I didn't want to pay any extra for it. After that everything went a-ok and at the end of March, I dropped an email to ask how the order was going and when the order was ready to ship if he could quote me for both airmail and EMS. Martin replied that my items were ready to ship and gave me prices for both services. I chose air mail and paid the invoice. Two days later Martin emailed me to let me know the package had been sent to the sorting centre, and sent me a picture of the parcel and the tracking number and then I patiently waited!

Two weeks later and this arrived! I love that Clobba use this wrapping, and it was very securely taped up as well.

Inside was a box covered in bubble wrap - The bubble wrap they use is quite thick and feels a better quality than most. 

Under the bubble wrap was a secret shop box! I've never seen one of these before, it's so cute that I'm going to use it for storing things in.

Everything I ordered fitted neatly in the box, with even more bubble wrap for safety.

 

 And here's what I ordered - a desk calendar (This is lego brick styled so you can change it around, there are even special bricks for birthdays and holidays too!),  a dust plug for my phone, I finally replaced my Yamanote line Rilakkuma (I lost my original one), a pair of socks, a top, some phone stickers (The seller kindly sent me both colours instead of just one!) And a Rilakkuma handbag.

I'm really happy with all of the items I ordered, the quality was what I expected and the clothing items fit perfectly! I've spotted a few other things I wanted from Taobao so I expect I'll be using Clobba again in the near future!

Presents for a friend!

Hello Lovelies!

Today I'm really excited to share my post with you as this is probably the best thing I've made in quite a long time!

A friend of mine at work is going on maternity leave today! Everyone decided to buy a present and I made a cake and card to go with it!

Here's a picture of the card I made, I think there's a bit of theme going on!

I am ridiculously proud of this cake - ha! It's the first time I've used the duck mold that I brought last year and I can't believe it turned out so well! I really love making cakes but I don't get to make them very often any more, so this was really fun (and a little bit nerve wracking too!) It's a maderia cake, iced with lemony butter cream.

Next week's post should be up on the usual Monday and is very Harry Potter orientated!

Kawaii Box Co - October Box

Hello Lovelies!

As I mentioned a few posts back, I've decided to try out a few different Kawaii monthly boxes as there are quite a lot of companies now offering these, I thought it'd be fun to see what variety there is!

I ordered two this month and this was the first of them to turn up. This one is from Kawaii Box and cost $12.99 and for that they promise to deliver you 10-12 items. For this cost you also get delivery with a tracking number included. Kawaii Box also notify you when the box has been sent and it only took a few days to get to me!

I didn't photograph the outter box that arrived as Royal Mail had done their usual fantastic job whilst sorting and battered it to death. (This was a rigid corrugated card box as well!!) It did have the Kawaii Box logo on the front though. Inside the box everything was wrapped up in some pink tissue paper.

Under the tissue paper was a car and the itemss - this months theme was everything is Kawaii! I really like the inclusion of the little post card, it's a lovely personal touch.

A cute little cat phone/key charm - his face is pretty funny.

Dog pencil sharpener - This is so useful! I'm forever loosing pencil sharpeners and this ones big enough to spot easily!

Candy hair ties - There is a pair of these! At first I wondered what I'd do with them as my hair is too short to tie up now, but I could always use them with wigs or even as a bracelet.

Hello Kitty pen - I love the colour of this and the charms on the end cap. The pen itself is a very nice quality and I can see myself using it a lot.

Rilakkuma squishy charm - We all know Rilakkuma is my favourite so I'm pretty pleased with this!

Spotty mini towel - This is super useful for me to pop in my backpack for when it rains and I need to try off the bike! It folds small enough to pop in a pocket too.

Kitty note card - This is a little note card and envelope, I quite like this design!

Stickers! Everybody loves stickers I'm sure I can find a use for these as they are so cute.

 

Pencil case - I think this is a pencil case rather than a make up bag, but it could be use for either. (I think I'm hoping it was intended for pencils as I could really use one!) It's made of quite a thick material too which is nice. The print is adorable!

In the bottom of the box were these leaflets - they have discounts for the Kawaii box store and Blippo. There was also a pack of Puccho candy in the box but I forgot to take a photo of them!

I have to say I'm very impressed with this box it's half the price of some boxes and I feel I got a better variety of items for my money as well. I especially liked that all the items are pretty useful as well rather than just all decorations or charms. I will be keeping my subscription to this box and look forward to what the next one brings!

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down!

Hello Lovelies!

A few days ago a friend posted a question asking 'How do people seem to stay happy?' Now, this got me thinking, moods can be affected by just about anything good and bad (and I'm quite prone to bad luck at the moment!) and we all have our ups and our downs, but what can we do to cheer ourselves up when we're feeling blue? This is my list of things that make me smile even when the worst is going on!

My family! My Husband and Harry always manage to cheer me up, so do my parents, sisters, extended family and friends too.

Rilakkuma. I don't know what it is about this little bear and his friends, but his chubby little face makes me smile. Sometimes the animation shorts are fun to watch too if you want to take your mind off things.

Reading a good book, manga, playing a video game or watching something so awful its funny.

Window shopping - or online window shopping. You don't even need to spend anything! Just have a look around and see what you can find, there's always something to look at.

Crafting and baking. These always cheer me up, I love making new things and planning them out can help take your mind off other bothers.

Food! I love stir fry and fresh fruit (especially watermelon and mangos) and the good news is unlike most comfort food they are pretty kind to your waist line!

These are just a few things you could try to lighten your mood, but take a moment for yourself, even if its just a nice hot bath or a quiet walk. But try and remember, bad times, are just times that are bad, it won't last forever!

~*~ REVIEW~*~ Artscow.com ~ Print just about anything on anything! ~*~Positive~*~

Today I have a review of ArtsCow! I'd heard of Artscow a few months ago, and recently they had a special offer on (I think it was a XL cosmetic bag for $0.99 delivered.) The reason I can't remember exactly what the offer was that when I signed up to order my bag I was given lots of different free item coupons!, So I went a tiny bit mad and ordered 2 XL bags, 2 large bags and a cushion cover.

I placed the order a little over two weeks ago and the order arrived today.

I'm really impressed with this - its printed on a satin type material and closes with velcro (so much better than a zip!!) I'm already planning on some more cushions as I love this one so much!

These are the XL bags - they are a little bit smaller than I was expecting, but they are very well made and the prints are crisp and clear (One had two different pictures on each side)

And these are the two large sizes - I have to save I'm loving the one with my logo! The prints are very clear and the Totoro one is really vibrant!

All of the cosmetic bags have an inner zip compartment which I wasn't expecting and is a great addition! the ordering process is very simple. You choose your products, and customise them (You can choose zip colour for the bags and on some other things you can choose the fabric colour too), add your images and add the product to the basket before checking out. ArtsCow provide you with guidelines for the size of images needed for each product. They also have an advanced editing tool for their products but I didn't try this feature as I just wanted simple bags.

I really love the site, and I will definitely go back and order some more items (They even print dresses now!!) It was just so simple and really good value for money!
