Hello Lovelies!
Today I'm going to show you my new purchases from Taobao! Some of you will know that I adore Sailor Moon and because of the new series launch and anniversary a lot of new products have been launched in connection with this. Something that caught my eye was the the Samantha Vega x Sailor Moon bags and purses that were available at Iestan in Japan. Sadly I wasn't able to purchase these directly from the store (Not to mention that the bag alone was nearly £200 and I can't be trusted not to ruin anything that expensive!) I gave up on owning anything from the set. Until I spotted the above on Taobao. I think I spent all of 5 minutes debating whether to buy these or not before I emailed Clobba Online to place an order! Ordering with Martin is super easy and quick. Communication is always spot on and he always keeps me up to date with what's going on and is happy to answer any questions I have. Clobba will also take photos of items for you so you can see what your shopping is like before it even arrives! I opted for airmail again and it arrived in about two weeks all the way from China!
There's something about that spotty wrap that always makes me smile! It's also handy for guessing who the parcel is from!
The box was super protected with bubble wrap and the plastic paper - I think Clobba's parcels are the most damage/waterproof there are - which is fantastic!
In side the box I found my bag (in a dust baggy) and purse! The box was a perfect size as it stopped anything from wiggling around too much in transit.
The front of my purse - I opted for Sailor Moon's colour way. This is bang on accurate to the real one.
There's a lot of attention to detail in all the little embellishments and writing. The stitching is very neat as well.

Inside has a pink fabric with a Sailor Senshi themed print.
My Luna bag inside the dust bag!
This looks exactly like the real one - the fabric texture might be a little different, but it's hard to tell from the photos I've seen. The quality and attention to detail are amazing. Again the stitching is neat and everything is where it should be.
Close up of the moon. The hardware is imprinted with both Samantha Vega and Sailor Moon. Unlike some replicas I've seen, this one is made of metal and has the imprint.
Inside has the most adorable Luna and Artemis print! The only thing I'd say about this is it looks like it might be a painted on print as it's faded a little from use already.
Close up of the inside, label and print. It's worth noting that the only loose thread I found on the entire thing was on the zipper - nothing a pair of scissors couldn't fix.
All in all, I'm super happy with my purchases. The only tiny niggle I have is that the purse is too big for the bag so I can't use them at the same time. I may purchase one of the bigger handbags at some point to rectify this problem! But for now I'm loving using my Luna bag, it's small, cute and the strap doesn't dig in when you use it.
