Hello Lovelies!
I thought it was about time that I did an update on Harry, and thought it'd be fun to take you on a walk with us! Now that the Summer is here I've been taking Harry out very early in the morning, before it gets super hot. Before the heatwave hit England I went for a walk with Mr Lock and Harry which is when I took these photos with my Instax Camera.
As you can see Harry has grown a lot! I think he's definitely passed the puppy stage now. (He's a giant breed of dog, so he would have been quite large as a puppy). Harry has learnt that the word 'Walk' means that he's going out on adventure! He get's quite excited about this but he's a clever boy and knows to wait by the door to go out.
Off we go! See the bottle Mr Lock is holding? This is one of the best things we've ever bought for Harry. It's a doggy water bottle and it's really handy for the hot weather.
To the woods! We're pretty lucky that there's a lake and woods near us where we can take Harry pretty easily. It's not so great in the winter as it tends to get really boggy and muddy.
Harry sits to let us unhook his lead.
And off he goes to explore! His re-call is excellent and he knows he's not to go too far.
I find it really funny that Harry always submits to other dogs by laying on the ground. He even does this for tiny puppies, I think it's because he knows he's so big that he might scare other dogs so he tries to make himself as small as possible in hopes they'll want to play!
Remember the waterbottle? This is what it looks like in action, the bottom folds out into a tray so you can squeeze the water into it so your dog can drink from it.
